Born and raised in Pembroke, Rob is happy to be practicing law back in the Valley. His practice involves general civil litigation with a focus on contractual, employment, tenancy (commercial or residential), and estate disputes. He also practices in wills and estates.
Rob attended law school at Queen’s University and graduated with his Juris Doctor in 2020. Eager to get into the courtroom, Rob volunteered for Queen’s Legal Aid throughout his legal education, providing legal services and representation to students and low-income residents of Kingston. He summered at and completed his articles with Weaver, Simmons LLP – the largest law firm in Northern Ontario. There he had exposure to all areas of the law but focussed primarily on civil litigation.
Prior to law school, Rob attended the University of Waterloo where he received his Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) in Geological Engineering. While at Waterloo, Rob did several co-operative education placements and gained experience working in the mining and construction sectors.
Rob is an avid Leafs fan and dog lover. When not working he enjoys skiing, skating, running, and being on the Ottawa River. He is also a musician and will rarely pass up a chance to play the piano or the pipe organ.
